So What is Fake Page Rank?
Fake page rank is a common search engine optimisation (SEO) trick you have to be aware of when doing a variety of things from buying an appealing domain to buying page links or adverts and that’s why you need to do a pagerank test.
PR is faked simply, by using a 301 redirection to send the domain to a higher ranked website. Here’s example; if I want to fake a domain’s PR I can use the redirect to point www.example.com to www.yahoo.com and this redirect will be applied only at the time when the Google bot makes a visit.
