Pagerank Predictor
Continuing my hunt for future pagerank prediction, I entered “pagerank predictor” into Google and got a similar result as with “predict pagerank”.
Another convincing looking site turned up after clicking on pagerankprediction.com. A nice box offered the ability to either click to predict pagerank or click to improve pagerank. Clicking the predict option provides a doubtful result but with the added benefit of a link to your site for as long as it remains in the rolling box of the 25 sites checked previously.
The click to improve pagerank option takes you go to a sales page for a piece of software, which looked quite interesting. Serendipity.
The ablewise.com site has a tool in beta test and not much else. The site pagerankim.com has an enormous choice of icons to display PR on your site and not much else. Then pagerankpredict.net has ten different icons for the display of PR on your site but appears not to predict pagerank, as far as I could see. This site does have some useful ideas and includes “PageRank Crawl” which asks you to enter a single domain name and check Google PageRank and the PR of all outgoing links from your site.
So, I have reached the conclusion that attempting to predict pagerank is a waste of time.
Nobody but Google understands how the algorithm for what pagerank your site gets functions, so how can anybody else design a tool that will predict pagerank with anything even approaching accuracy? The answer is nobody, so stop throwing away your time and use more sensibly to improve pagerank by doing something worthwhile to your site, like gaining some more high quality pagerank links.
If you go to selfseo.com you need a minimum 100 back links to get a result…Oh no!
